In depth

Verdict

Anuvasteel is given the vote here with Phluke and Bailieborough rated as the main dangers. The selection will have no problem seeing out this trip, he has got form on this track and on the pick of his turf form he looks to have an outstanding chance. Phluke won in good style in a handicap at Lingfield last time when defeating Blaeberry, but the step-up to this trip is not sure to suit as it may stretch his stamina to the limits and on that basis we are taking him on. Bailieborough is in good form at present but all his last four wins have been gained with a visor on and as that has been left off today we are happy to take him on. Veneer could be the best of the remainder, but he looks to have a little to find with some of these and for the winner we return to Anuvasteel.
