Verdict

It was soft ground when Normal Equilibrium won last year’s renewal with 2015 winner Monumental Man back in fifth. The former has not won since but has slipped down the weights while the latter narrowly beat Sandfrankskipsgo at Lingfield last month and should go well again. Majestic Hero has a shout on his short-head defeat at the hands of El Astronaute at Newmarket last week but PIXELEEN gets the vote. She had little chance against much higher rated opposition in a conditions race at Bath on her comeback but should be sharper for the outing and can go close on the evidence of last year’s best efforts in Class 2 sprints.
