Verdict

A big field to bring the curtain down on proceedings at Haldon Hill and we'll give IDIAN MIX another chance, while Ballygalley Bob and Brave Jo are among others in with a shout. The selection was thrashed here over fences last time and will appreciate this return to the smaller obstacles. He stays well and acts with cut and now the hoods are applied for the first time it may well be worth taking the plunge. Ballygalley Bob is another who will relish conditions and trip and he has a few pounds in hand over hurdles compared to his recent chase mark, so is he can act well when fresh he can get involved. Brave Jo has won here on heavy ground and if you can forgive him for tipping up last time then you can give him a squeak on his best form. Trip and ground suit Ice Melted, who reverts to hurdles on a much more favourable mark than his chase rating, although before getting carried away note that he was thrashed from this mark over hurdles when last tried over them a year ago. Bally Conn will find this tougher after being penalised for a Wincanton win, Toulouse-Lautrec would have a great chance on his best form but he is fragile these days, and Cresswell Willow wants faster ground. Idian Mix is taken to score.
