Verdict

ARTHURIAN LEGEND won with plenty in hand at Chepstow on his reappearance and looks sure to go close here, despite his 7lb penalty. That was his first run over hurdles and only his second visit to the racecourse and Philip Hobbs' gelding is preferred to The Reformer, who was made to look one-paced by Skint on his hurdling debut at Wincanton and may do better when tackling longer trips. Well Hello There has shown promise in both starts but is another for whom an extra half-mile probably wouldn't come amiss and Fontano, who beat The Reformer in a Kempton bumper in April but hasn't raced since, may need this.
