Verdict

HINTERLAND was winning for the third time over hurdles when defying top weight in a handicap at Chepstow on his reappearance. He has the size to make a chaser and, with a hefty weight-for-age allowance, should take care of older rivals in this. Peckhamecho won at Stratford before finishing third in what looked a decent contest at Cheltenham but also has a penalty to carry here. David Pipe, who trained the winner of that race, has E Street Boy in this, though he returns from a lengthy absence. Theatre Guide should enjoy the ground and has plenty of scope but Wayward Frolic fell at the first at Huntingdon on Sunday.
