    Verdict

Kiama is the one to beat here. She may have most to fear from Dad Says Heazle and Candlelight Valley. The selection failed to shine in a brief career under National Hunt Rules for Brendan Powell but she has been in her element between the flags for the talented Polly Gundry with just an uncharacteristic mistake blotting a perfect sequence. She won readily at Cotley last time and can follow up. Dad Says Heazle also comes into the race on the back of a win and must be feared following that 20 length success from Riteway Round at Flete Park. Candlelight Valley finished third in last year's renewal of this contest and that experience should stand him in good stead but he may have to settle for a minor role once again behind our selection, Kiama.
