Verdict

Nico De Boinville is good value for his 7lb claim and was on board when Barton Gift overcame mistakes to get the better of Master Cardor Visa over 2m6f at Ffos Las earlier this month. He's 9lb higher now, however, and needs to improve again to follow up here. STORM ALERT has had a short break since finishing third over 3m at Ffos Las in January but this is a slightly easier race and he's fancied to get back to winning ways under regular pilot Lucy Gardner. Midnight Lira edged out Southway Queen over a shorter distance at Plumpton last month and may be the pick of the remainder as Glenwood Prince hasn't really taken to hurdles. Some Secret would have claims if building on his close second to Bravo Bravo at Chepstow 10 days ago but was a long way behind the selection on New Year's Day.
