Verdict

BOONDOOMA was well supported to follow up his Limerick bumper victory over hurdles at Cork a week later but couldn't quite get to the front pair. He had the remainder in another parish and will love the conditions so can get back on the winning trail. Desertmore Stream started a short-priced favourite for a Thurles maiden eventually won by The Pounds but was starting to feel the pinch when falling at the last. O Maoniai's close third to The Tullow Tank at Naas in November is comfortably the best form on view but he didn't run anywhere near as well at Cork the following month. Dantes Firth found Grade 3 company much too hot here last month but would have an obvious chance on her previous run behind Railway Zira.
