Beluckyagain has been making steady progress and looked well at home in very testing ground at Thurles. She'll need to improve again in this much stronger race in which Twentytwo's Taken will make a bold bid follow up her very impressive victory at Down Royal for her in-form yard. Kayf Hampshire also made a very encouraging debut when comfortably beating Whisper Rock at Limerick and the runner-up has run well subsequently in a better race. Miss Mardan had been threatening to win before a comfortable success here 10 days ago but if PALM SUR handles these conditions she's the one to beat. A debut winner at Killarney on fast ground in July, she was having her first start since when beaten less than a length by the very useful Shesafoxylady in a Listed bumper on yielding going at Navan in November. West Montan showed some promise in a newcomers event at Naas though the race was run at a crawl in the early stages.
