Verdict

There are a couple of well-connected newcomers worth noting in the betting. Festive Felon is out of a winning miler in France but it's SHEMSHAL who really catches the eye. He's by Dalakhani out of a French Listed winner and is a full brother to a Group 3 winner in France. He can make a winning debut though there are plenty of dangers with the likes of Emperor Of Exmoor, a very good second to Tangled Web at Leopardstown, and Redundant Man, who has proved he handles heavy ground on his last two starts, both likely to be in the hunt. Afatcat made a promising start at Bellewstown in August but this looks much tougher.
