Verdict

Sizing Gold was by no means disgraced behind Pont Alexandre at Leopardstown and holds a verdict in a bumper over DEFY LOGIC. However, the latter has made great strides over hurdles and gave the classy Annie Power a fright at Naas so should be good enough for this. Bright New Dawn has to be a major threat as he wasn't far behind Cheltenham winner Champagne Fever at Leopardstown before seeing off today's rival Mala Beach and Reine Angevine at Thurles. Morning Assembly wasn't far behind Sizing Gold at Leopardstown and looks a fair each-way bet.
