In depth

Verdict

The Black Baron won over a shorter trip here last month but was only third off his new mark at Huntingdon last time. Fine Parchment is headstrong and inconsistent but has ability when in the mood and well treated on his best form but is conceding 15lb to SOUDAIN. Steve Gollings' gelding has been a bit disappointing since winning over a marathon trip at Market Rasen on Boxing Day but has only had four starts over fences and may have more to offer. He can get back on the winning trail here as That's The Deal is frequently found out at this level and Riguez Dancer has yet to win over this trip, though isn't badly handicapped.
