Verdict

It was only a seller that LOCO GRANDE won at Folkestone earlier this month but the opposition here is not much better. Tim Vaughan's charge has been raised 7lb for that success but has won from a higher mark than this previously and can complete a quick double. Hurricane Electric looks the main threat as he showed promise last season where he had a novice event at Bangor to his credit. He will be better for a run at Towcester in November and shouldn't be far away. Petroglyph completed a quick hat-trick at the backend of 2009 including a C&D success but he hardly picked his feet up in six starts last year. Both No More Whispers and Just Dan are visored for the first time but it would take a leap of faith to consider either, even in this poor contest.
