In depth

Verdict

Gort Na Lea, Roaringwater and Supa Tramp have all won between the flags recently while Caulkin has shown enough to suggest he'll be getting off the mark soon for connections, though couldn't justify favouritism at Higham last month. Star Double has plenty of experience around here and it would be no surprise if he was to make the frame again but stablemate Fraudster arguably has more scope. Goscar Rock will probably need this but fitness won't be an issue with the fast-improving ENIGMA VARIATIONS, who makes his debut over regulation fences but has won his last four point-to-points and produced another assured display when making all at Garthorpe 12 days ago - he can extend his run if his jumping holds up.
