Verdict

SILVERGINO can defy a 9lb rise in the weights and land it for the Tim Vaughan yard; No Greater Love is the obvious danger while Beau Torero, if fit could get involved. Silvergino appeared attractively weighted on the best of his form at Southwell and duly took full advantage. The small field here means he might get his own way in front here and that could well be the winning of the race for him. No Greater Love is a far more consistent sort to Silvergino and rates a big danger. His chasing mark continues to be lower to that of his hurdles mark and his form has taken a turn for the better since joining Charlie Longsdon. Three time course winner Beau Torero had a recent pipeopener on the level at Kempton but may need some respite from the assessor. It is difficult to see the remainder troubling the first three mentioned and Silvergino is nominated to land it.
