Verdict

FLYING BEAR has gone close in both starts now after finding only one too good at Haydock. Jeremy Gask's colt can land this with any further progress as his form looks superior to that of The Dandy Yank. The latter finished third at Windsor last time without looking like catching the winner while both Captain Whoosh and Dodger Marley made only modest racecourse debuts and have some improving to do if they're to match the winner. Thrtypointstothree had little chance in the Coventry at Ascot last time but ran well at this level on his debut at Bath.
