In depth

Verdict

Low grade but competitive fare with the dual-purpose Llewellyn pair heading the handicap on the back of recent successes. Taste The Wine followed up a Warwick win on the level with really good efforts over timber and is clearly in good heart at present. He's up 7lb though and stable companion SWEET WORLD is narrowly preferred. The gelding has been a splendid stable servant and looked as good as ever when scoring over this trip and ground at Chepstow last time. Monster Munchie is open to improvement but his best efforts have been on artificial surfaces, while Market Puzzle has enjoyed a fine campaign and could go well again for Racheal Kneller if his busy season hasn't caught up with him.
