Verdict

More Claret won an eventful race at Wexford and has to be feared in receipt of the allowances but preference is for the penalised CHAIN OF COMMAND. Warren Greatrex's charge has been highly tried in his career in bumpers and over hurdles with varying degrees of success but looks capable of making his mark over fences judged by his impressive performance at Kempton where he had the field well strung out behind. The opposition that day included Benfleet Boy who has his work cut out to reverse the form; Blacktoft is a decent yardstick but may need to rely on mistakes from his rivals whilst Potemkin will do well to sink this opposition.
