Verdict

ABSOLUTE POWER (NAP) finished second to Count Meribel at Carlisle on last month’s hurdling debut without threatening but the latter has subsequently gone in again so the form looks stronger in hindsight. He should have the measure of Trixster and has a race-fitness advantage over the rest of the field who all have their first starts over hurdles. Juge Et Parti and Mulcahys Hill won bumper races when last in action while Dark Invader and The Sweeney were both placed in bumpers on their latest starts.
