In depth

Verdict

Head Hunted, a winning stayer on the Flat, has been finding the minimum trip much too short over timber and this should be more his distance. He probably doesn't have too much to beat here as winning Irish point-to-pointer Lady Of Synone has been beaten out of sight in her four starts over timber in her native country. Another ex-Irish performer, Bell Harbour, might be good enough as he was staying on strongly at the finish over two miles at Warwick last month and that was only his second start for Evan Williams but a chance is taken on FERMOYLE FLYER. An expensive purchase in November, the son of Presenting looks to have been found an ideal starting point by his trainer who will be expecting better things.
