Verdict

CHANGING LANES' proven chase form earns him a tentative vote but support for the likes of Foxesbow and Sabre Hongrois would be well worth noting. The selection made it third time lucky when scoring over this trip on rain softened ground at Uttoxter despite having struggled to get home on his previous outing at Hexham. He's 5lbs higher but should be competitive. Foxesbow hasn't shown a great deal over hurdles for this yard but he's bred to make a chaser and may fare better with McCoy up for the first time. Sabre Hongrois was over 50 lengths in front of him at Market Rasen six days ago and shapes as though he'll stay this far although his fencing ability has to be taken on trust. Invention is another newcomer to chasing, Havenstone has shown improved form over hurdles since last being tried over birch, Presentandcorrect has been struggling of late but should get this trip. Prince Noora stayed on well to win last time and may have more to offer as may Moscow Mo Chuisle but Changing Lanes is in the driving seat.
