    Verdict

The prospect of heavy going has frightened away most of the four-day entries. MANCINELLO has already been gelded but is a full brother to a 6f winner and half-brother to a winning miler and wouldn't need to be anything special to make a winning debut. He's just preferred to the filly Belle Vale, who led until inside the final furlong over this trip at Kempton when easy to back and should have learned from the experience. None of the others showed enough on their introductions to warrant support.
