Verdict
We should know where the best ground is following the running of the first division but in the absence of that knowledge we'll go with EMIRATES WORLD. Burma Rock, Calaloo and Omnium Duke are others to be interested in. Burma Rock belied his starting price to finish second at Yarmouth and there should be more to come from him but his future may lie in handicaps for which he's eligible after this run. Omnium Duke was well beaten last time but that came on fast ground and it may pay to ignore that outing as he showed plenty of promise in a Newbury maiden first time up. Calaloo has been off the track since making his debut in May where he finished last of four. The winner has not been seen since but the second has been placed in Group company and the third has landed a valuable sales race; he's a fascinating runner. Emirates World's debut was fair at best and it would be a surprise to see him fulfil his engagement in the Racing Post Trophy but it was not without promise and he should be able to win an ordinary contest. He shaped as though this longer trip would suit and Emirates World may be able to get off the mark.
