Verdict

Rhythm Stick has won his last three starts over 1m4f on the Polytrack. It was probably the longer trip rather than the surface that brought about the improvement and he could well figure on his first start since January. However, FLYING POWER has the more recent form and makes more appeal. David Lanigan's charge scored over today's trip at Leicester three weeks ago and, with the runner-up having franked the form since, he's fancied to follow up off only a 2lb higher mark. The Calling Curlew wasn't beaten far on his handicap bow at Brighton, while Gems and Lombok are others to consider.
