In depth

Verdict

COME ON THE IRONS has the best recent form with a win at Brighton to his name last month and doesn't look overburdened in this company. He gets the vote ahead of Irish import King's Road, who scored at Killarney on his penultimate start and Carlton Scroop, who has been running well in sellers. Hotfoot and The Ducking Stool showed a bit more last time and may do better over this longer trip with the latter preferred to stablemate Bavarica.
