      Verdict

      Black Baccara scored over C&D last week but will need to improve again under a 6lb penalty and runner-up MAGICAL SPEEDFIT is fancied to turn the tables. The latter never looked like catching the winner last time, despite the fact he was beaten less than a length, but that was his first run of the season and George Margarson's charge will strip fitter today. Liberty Lady won three times last year including over 6f here and her return to this track might spark some improvement, while Waabel has claims on his best form but has been below par on the all-weather recently.
