      In depth

      Verdict

There is not really that much strength-in-depth here and Sir Mark Prescott appears to have found One Off a good opportunity to land the four-timer. Moonshine Beach, Humdinger and Forever My Lord can scrap it out for the minor honours. But One Off, who needs plenty of rousting along in his races, is an improving sort and he should find this next step up in trip playing to his strengths. The Barathea gelding will keep his supporters on the edge of their seats if his past performances are anything to go by, but his willingness to knuckle down makes him the stand out selection against some inconsistent types. The fact that a handful of the opposition have recent placed form to their name could also ensure that One Off goes off at backable odds.
