HISTORY LESSON should be good enough to take advantage of this opportunity and can restrict Light Dubai and Gold Maha to minor honours. Richard Hannon has found a weak maiden for a colt who should turn out to be above average if he has trained on from two to three. There was promise to be gleaned from his debut behind Nasri, the horse that beat him next time went on to finish second in a Group 3 whilst the form of his last start was given a boost when the winner won his next start. His main rival should be Light Dubai who was no match for Debussy before running creditably in a decent maiden confined to her own sex. Her Oaks entries look rather optimistic but she's the obvious threat to the selection in this contest. Stablemate Gold Maha is the stable's second string but her debut wasn't totally devoid of promise and she may improve sufficiently to contest minor honours. Cluny makes some appeal on paper and should know what's required of her but she has plenty of ground to make up in order to get the better of History Lesson.
