In depth

Verdict

Very little form with which to establish a strong opinion here but Megasue impressed on debut albeit in a weak bumper and is the obvious pick here although any support for the newcomers should be noted. Strongly supported to win that contest, she had obviously been showing something at home. Cry Alot Baby won an all-weather bumper on debut but that was in March 2007 and the form failed to amount to much. Gilwen Glory and Elusive Rock hail from Welsh yards that are more than capable of preparing one for a debut victory but on quick ground which clearly she relished on debut, Gary Moore's four year-old filly Megasue is the selection to land the finale.
