Verdict

Baltic Blade won on his hurdling debut at Newton Abbot but won't find it easy to follow up here under a penalty. WOOLY BULLY was lightly raced on the Flat but showed he had some ability when fourth here 10 days ago, despite being hampered on the home turn. He'll know more today and is just preferred to French import Alanjou. Shark Hanlon has several runners here today and picked up Down Time cheaply in the sales after he finished fourth in a Catterick maiden in May. He could figure if fully wound-up.
