Verdict

It would be no surprise if Geneva Geyser, five times a winner on the Flat, were to pay his way over hurdles. The fast ground won't be a problem for Lady Herries' five-year-old but he hasn't raced since September. Roanstar also showed ability on the level but may need today's experience and we are taking GREEN MINING to add to his Worcester win last month. This extra half-mile will suit Tim Vaughan's seven-year-old, who has already won a point-to-point and will probably be tackling fences in the near future.
