Verdict

High Oscar hasn't won since scoring over C&D over a year ago, but has finally dropped back to a winning mark and ran well on a fast surface at Plumpton in April. BENDANT has a more recent outing under his belt having finished runner-up over hurdles at Chepstow last week in testing ground and a chance is taken that he can make his chasing bow a winning one. Swainson won here back in January and is 4lb higher, while Stop The Show had Quartz Du Montceau behind when scoring at Plumpton in the same month and could be thereabouts.
