In depth

Verdict

Figaro is fit from the Flat, but has hardly been distinguishing himself in that sphere. It's more than two years since Victor Leudorum last won over timber while Overclear hasn't run over the smaller obstacles since 2010. SUR LA MER has quickly found his feet since joining Dan Skelton and beat a decent field at Stratford last month. He probably has the scope to defy a 4lb higher mark here. Rockmount River has been placed in a couple of novice events and is another with the potential to do better and he's preferred to the four-year-old Halling's Wish on this occasion.
