In depth

Verdict

Nawamees gets the confident vote here with Don Valentino and Forest Chief rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair third behind One Cornetto on his fencing debut. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and under his optimum conditions here he looks the one to be on. Don Valentino rates the main danger on his best form but he disappointed last time out for no apparent reason so can not be put forward with any confidence. Forest Chief is another that could go well , as he is from a yard in top form but the first time visor will need to have a dramatic effect if he is to defeat the selection. Of the remainder Half Inch will find this easier than the race he finished third in behind Mister Flint last time and is another with place claims but for the winner we return to Nawamees.
