Verdict

Old Mr Bachster won on soft going over course and distance in January but couldn’t follow up off a higher mark last month. LAKESHORE LADY (NAP) easily reversed Hereford running with Easter In Paris here nine days ago. She’s been raised 7lb for that but Tom Scudamore keeps faith with David Bridgwater’s mare, who can follow up. Lake Chapala won at Plumpton on his first start for Chris Gordon and has now been successful three times this season. But he has a penalty to carry while Brown Bear has not kicked on from his win at Towcester in December, though is dropped in grade today.
