In depth

Verdict

Champagne George wasn't beaten far behind Clondaw Cian, who runs in today's opener, over course and distance on his first start under Rules. Our Three Sons was placed twice here earlier in the year but didn't progress on his return to action at Market Rasen and it would be no surprise if stablemate and newcomer Wildehearted Woman proved better in time. SPORTING MILAN has a superb pedigree for jumping and showed plenty of promise when second in a point-to-point at Inch in April. He'll come into his own when having some hurdles to jump but may have too much class for these.
