Verdict

David Wachman won this last year and Fit For The Job looks certain to win soon after staying on over 6f on both starts. However, the concession of the fillies' allowance to BLEU CIEL ET ROUGE may prove beyond him. Dermot Weld's daughter of Manduro made a very encouraging debut when touched off right on the line by the experienced Ice Echo over Bellewstown's stiff mile and this shorter trip should play more to her strengths. Aidan O'Brien runs Before Long, a daughter of Duke Of Marmalade out of an unraced mare. She should make her mark over middle distances but is still respected and this trio should have the call.
