Verdict

After scoring at Ballinrobe, Dedoctorsdaughter never got going on a return visit and can do much better than that. Faustina Pius is inconsistent and has now gone 15 runs without a victory and though Harangue has been brilliantly placed to complete a hat-trick another 8lb rise might be enough to stop him in his tracks. Line View made a valiant attempt to overcome a 7lb rise for his Limerick victory and only just failed to match Alf Wright at Tramore. He looks certain to be thereabouts but it's JACK THE HAT who gets the nod. He stays further than this, as recent victories suggest, and with a fast and furious pace likely he can come with a late burst to gain his third success this summer.
