Verdict

Useful hurdler Marinero ran well behind Bonny Kate at Fairyhouse on his second start over fences but has been very disappointing subsequently. He reverted to hurdles at Tipperary and won comfortably so it will be interesting to see how he copes with the bigger obstacles again. Phil's Magic, a Listed winner over timber, has come up against some decent performers over fences and has steadily improved though his best form so far has been over shorter. Winning bumper and hurdler Dont Tell No One makes his chasing debut and will be primed for a big run while Roll It Out looked as though he will make a better chaser than hurdler after a fine debut at Tipperary when beaten narrowly. His stable companion Taglietelle is better than any of these over timber so has to be on the short-list but the vote goes to DAISY'S GIFT, a Listed winner over hurdles at Gowran who didn't get far on her debut over fences at Kilbeggan a couple of weeks ago when well supported.
