In depth

Verdict

There may have been something amiss when CAPISCI made his debut in February though connections put the run down to heavy ground. He made amends in no uncertain terms at Kilbeggan last month where he was always travelling very easily and came home virtually alone. He'll take some beating though Saint Gervais has been improving with every run and could hardly have been more impressive when beating what looked like a strong field in a bumper here at the Festival. Golden Desert made a winning start at Downpatrick though couldn't handle tougher opposition here last month but Black Benny was in good form earlier this year where he scored on ground with some give at Thurles.
