Verdict

SEA LIGHT was backed as if defeat were out of the question here on Wednesday but didn't get the run of the race and had to settle for second behind Plain Talking. Today's longer trip will be to his liking and compensation awaits. Bye Bye O Bye won a point-to-point then three handicaps over hurdles in the spring. He's had a couple of runs on the level subsequently and should give a good account. Oisin James has been in superb form and showed great resolution to see off Sounds Of Thunder at Kilbeggan while Tulsa Jack has improved dramatically over fences since he last ran over timber in 2014 and arrives here on an 18lb lower mark.
