Special Fighter has looked ready for a rest lately but a longer trip might suit. York third Dolphin Village is also upped in distance and a pound higher but there are possibilities about Spice Fair as he returned to winning ways at Beverley last month. Statutory was fourth off this mark at York and has a chance but might not be good enough to beat BLUE SURF off level weights. Amanda Perrett's gelding usually runs well here and this looks a bit easier than recent tests.
