Bravo Echo won this last year off a pound higher mark with Time Medicean, also a pound lower, a close-up third. But preference this time around is for the much younger ROYAL GUINEVERE, who arrives in terrific form having recorded a double at Doncaster and Windsor in July in this grade. She was placed over 5f here in the spring and may still be improving. Clear Praise only found one too good at Epsom last month after winning at Lingfield and should be thereabouts again while Commanche has been placed in seven of his last eight starts, winning twice. Kinglami may be too high in the weights now but Johnny Castle has slipped to a fair mark but his losing run now stretches back more than two years.
