Verdict

Richard Hughes presence on Brownsea Brink suggests he has the best chance of the Hannon trio and there was cut in the ground when he finished fourth at Salisbury last time. Herbalist's recent modest effort in soft ground is not encouraging as he'd gone close at Leicester before that. It was fast going when DON MARCO made a promising start at Newbury last month but a chance is taken the half-brother to progressive stablemate Thistle Bird handles today's surface and he gets the nod. Hornboy and Opus Cactus should do better while Little Choosey could prove best of the newcomers.
