Verdict

After a very encouraging debut at Newmarket in June, Exceedingly started favourite on the same track last month but didn't appear to handle the softer ground. Flashy Diva was well beaten on her opening run but attracted some support on her next start at Windsor and performed well. Kinematic ran a fine race when runner-up on soft ground at Newmarket in May and wasn't suited by dropping back to the minimum trip next time. Penny Pepper made a bright start at Windsor behind Sallebah with Lolita just behind and that could prove the best form of those with experience but this can go to Richard Hannon's newcomer MYSTIC JADE, who is a half-sister to six winners and bred for pace.
