This has been run twice and 25/1 chances have won both. Rapid Advance looked a smart prospect when scoring here in June but has been a big disappointment subsequently. First Post's last victory was here in October and, though he's been performing with credit, is 3lb lower so has to be on the short-list. Balmoral Castle has won twice over the course and distance and is on a hat-trick after his latest success at Windsor. He's taken a big leap in the ratings and class so will need to produce much more. Angelic Upstart was having his first-ever run on this track when coming with a late run to beat Jodies Jem over the trip last month. He's well up to this class but a 5lb rise makes things more difficult. The lightly-raced INSAANY (NAP) ran a tremendous race in a better handicap than this over slightly further here last month. The assessor has left him on the same mark and Mark Johnston's lightly-raced colt is handed the vote.
