A market check's essential here given there's so little form to go on, but TOGA TIGER has had a couple of runs, and is selected to get the better of Master of Dance and Hold Your Colour. On debut, Mick Channon's colt ran a stormer, and although then playing up before his second run, only managed to get second place after being backed off the boards. We hope that he's not one of those that runs promisingly on debut but then becomes costly to follow. Connections have high hopes for him though, and he's got a fancy entry for later in the year. This is a step up from the five furlongs both his previous runs were at and the draw could be a negative, but a repeat of his debut could be enough to land the spoils. Master of Dance was last of six in a much better Ascot maiden than this, but is entitled to come on for that, and the Hannon runners usually do improve from first time out. He's entered for the Newbury Super Srint, and the same Doncaster race in September as Toga Tiger. Hold Your Colour could be anything, but is also a contender for those two contest and a listed race at York. The draw's in his favour, but any market support would be encouraging. There could be more clues in the betting ring, but we'll give another chance to Toga Tiger.
