Willie Mullins and Paul Townend have won both renewals of this so it's surprising to find Andrew Lynch on board the stable's Aupcharlie though he's rode him on his last three starts. He makes his debut over fences and is an obvious threat to all but Townend renews partnership with Spot Fine and the combination will make a bold bid to go one better than when runner-up to Far Away So Close at Limerick. CARLINGFORD LOUGH will take some beating having finished a close third to Lyreen Legend in what looked a strong event at Galway last month. Four times a winning hurdler, that was only the eighth race of his career and with more to come he can gain his first success over fences. Prima Vista, a very useful staying hurdler, makes his debut over the bigger obstacles and is certainly one to note but Bridgets Pet was in touch though struggling when falling at the last at Thurles and hadn't jumped with any fluency earlier.
