    Verdict

Navegante has disappointed but has been dropped to a mark which enables him to compete at this lowly level for the first time. Miss Ballygally gained a shock victory on testing ground at Tipperary and if there's further rain she has a chance to overcome an 8lb rise in the weights. Primal Snow may be a bit better than her form figures suggest, a remark that also applies to the former James Fanshawe-trained Leonardo. DOUBLE FAST couldn't quite get to the in-form Beechmount Whisper here last month and could only stay on at one pace over a slightly longer trip at Clonmel later under an apprentice. Pat Smullen takes the ride again and Tom Mullins' filly can gain her second victory on the track. Howaya Hurricane was beaten a long way into third here last month and has never won but the once useful Spirit Of The Law would have a chance if getting a run from his reserve spot.
