SEVENTH CAVALRY has a great chance of getting off the mark here and can hopefully take it, with Mazaris and Crafty Dealer others in with a shout if the selection's beaten run continues. Henry Cecil's runner has been slipping in the ratings after finishing placed on each of his last four starts but he still has pounds in hand on his rivals and acts on the polytrack, plus at the trip, so we'll give him one more chance. Mazaris is a potential improver here after just two starts and on this first try on the surface he looks likely to come on again. John Hills saddles up Crafty Dealer, and the step up to a mile will suit the Intikhab gelding, who may well show more. Plum Asset has a bit of ability but a poor run to put behind her, and Lady Brora looks best watched at present, leaving us with one more charge for Seventh Cavalry. (Jonathan Doidge)
